I just got back from flying to Tulsa for a few days. The people there were the friendliest I’ve ever encountered anywhere. Even the homeless people were friendly! I saw a million of them, but not one of them asked me for money, bothered, or unsolicited talked any shit to me at all. Tulsa
is a terrific city and a beautiful place, a bastion of humanity. I stayed on the 15th floor(the top floor) of a hotel downtown. I can’t believe I was still able to get good water pressure in the shower up there.
I’m also almost finished with writing a book of poetry and philosophy I’ve been working on since 2002! I have about 90 pages so far, so i’m about 3/4 of the way done. I mostly just lay in my room and write while watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. It’s really great because the dvd replays itself automatically when it’s over so it’s just sort of always on in my room.
Now I’m on my way to Fashion Square to buy my girlfriend a pretty ring, but noooo not that kind. homey don’t play that, or whatever the kids said in like 1991.
Or just maybe homey do play?
